The city that dreaded the sunset ends the fall season for movies in the park of the Texarkana, Texas Department of Parks and Recreation.

Films in the park begin between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and are shown on the grounds in front of the old plane at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana. Movies are free and the Texarkana Parks Department wants to promote a very family atmosphere.

Make sure to bring blankets and chairs to sit on and you are also allowed to bring food and drinks. Concessions will also be available. Remember that smoking or alcohol is prohibited.
