Star Trek and Paramount+ movie streaming platform coming to UK this summer


The Paramount+ streaming service will be available to UK audiences this summer, the channel has announced.

The news is part of a series of announcements made by ViacomCBS following an Investor Day meeting on Tuesday.

ViacomCBS will be rebranded to become Paramount, the company announced.

Listing the new content and changes coming this year, Paramount tweeted: “This summer #ParamountPlus is coming to the UK, bringing all of our shows and movies to UK audiences!”

Paramount also announced that starting in 2024, all of its feature films will be moved to streaming services after their theatrical releases.

This will include upcoming blockbusters including Top Gun: Maverick, The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, and the heavily delayed Mission: Impossible 7 movie.

The company also announced that the third installment of John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place is slated for release in 2025.
