Free movies will be shown on Saturday, December 11 and the following Saturday, December 18. Father Christmas will be present at both events to welcome the children and help collect food donations.

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will air on December 11 at 10:15 am. The doors will open at 9:15 am and Santa will be present. Free tickets for this event will be distributed courtesy of Vermont Broadcast Associates (VBA) on their local radio stations, including 92.1 FM, 97.7 FM, 105.5 FM, 106.3 FM and 94, 5 Newport FM. “It’s going to be a great time for everyone, so listen up and get your free tickets,” VBA’s Bruce James said.

On December 18, “The Santa Clause” with Tim Allen will air at 10:15 am, with Santa Claus welcoming the children when the doors open at 9:15 am. Tickets for this film must be collected in advance at Caledonian-Record on Federal Street in St. Johnsbury or at the Star Theater. These tickets are available now on a first come, first served basis.

All those who attend these films are asked to bring non-perishable food. Those not planning on attending can drop off a food donation at the theater anytime before December 18.
