(Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea) is finally released in theaters. With Mohanlal, Pranav Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan in key roles, the epic war drama drew mixed reactions from audiences.

Although the film captivated audiences with its spectacular viewing and the performances of the actors, it seems the storytelling and script were very complicated. On the other hand, Mohanlal fans who have been eagerly awaiting the film for years are now very happy with the release and have expressed their enthusiasm through their respective social networks.
Marakkar
directed by Priyadarshan was released in theaters after two long years of waiting. The film was released in 5 languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, English, Kannada, on more than 4000 screens. The Mohanlal-starrer would have around 16,000 shows each day. In Kerala, the film was released on 626 screens.
The main actor had recently announced that the film would be released on OTT platforms after its theatrical release.
