I bet you never thought that coupons could turn into a crime, did you? Well, Queenpins is the latest comedy that tells a coupon scam story you must hear.

So if you thought you were a savvy shopper think again because Connie and JoJo know all the tricks out of the bag… but I’m not sure I would tip them.

Written and directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly, Queenpins is not to be missed and audiences are desperate to find out if it can broadcast it or if it will be screened in theaters.

Queenpins: release date and plot

Connie aka Kristen Bell and her friend JoJo played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste are bored of their social life and decide to turn their hobby into a multi-million dollar counterfeit coupon business. The pair create an illegal coupon club program that scams millions of big companies, and the scam queens think they’ve been successful.

Until a Loss Prevention Officer (Paul Walter Hauser) at a local supermarket teams up with a U.S. Postal Inspector (Vince Vaughn) to uncover the truth behind what’s really going on. The bosses have a long journey ahead of them!

Where to watch Queenpins

The film hits US theaters tomorrow September 10. After a few weeks in theaters, the film will then arrive at Paramount + on September 30, according to Movie Insider.

The film was inspired by the real-life story of three women Robin Ramirez, Amiko Fountain and Marilyn Johnson of Arizona. They were arrested in 2012 for selling fraudulent coupons online and making millions.
