Steve Carell and Pierre Coffin return to voice Gru and the Minions, with the various villains all voiced by other major celebrities. In all, Minions: The Rise of Gru promises a fairly franchise-like experience so far, for better or worse. Given the number of fans the Despicable Me series a, there is a lot of demand to see Gru go up.
