Free movies on the beach every Thursday in Belmar

For many people, traveling is still a little scary. So a lot of people are probably going on a vacation this summer and doing stuff here in the Garden State.

The beauty of staycations this summer 2021 is that almost everything is open again in the state of New Jersey. The old fun summer activities are operational again.

According to Press on, Belmar Beach is bringing back its fun family activity, Movies on the Beach. The Beach Movies will run for six consecutive Thursdays starting July 15.

Really all you have to bring are your beach chairs or blankets to make yourself comfortable and that’s about it. VacationinBelmar.com said there are four different local nonprofits that will be selling popcorn during movie nights every Thursday to raise money for fundraisers.

The Beach Movies will take place on 7th Avenue Beach in Belmar, according to Press on. It can be a great way to end your day with family or friends and to make it better, it’s completely free.

Here is the schedule of films shared on VacationinBelmar.com: Frozen II on July 15, Minions on July 22, Moana on July 29, Trolls World Tour on August 5, Despicable Me 3 on August 12, and Toy Story 3 on August 19.

At Press on it was mentioned that all movies are weather permitting and will start after dark. It is recommended to arrive early to get a good seat as the Movies on the Beach event is free.
