Maaran
was released on a popular OTT platform skipping theatrical release. The film starring Malavika Mohanan as the female lead was released on March 11 and is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Directed by Karthick Naren, the political action thriller was slated for theatrical release, however, due to the pandemic and the releases of other films, the makers opted for an OTT release. Well, the film also became the latest victim of piracy. Apparently, Maaran has been leaked online on various hack-based websites, which may now impact the viewership of the film.
