Filmmaker Kabir Khan’s cricket drama “83”, presented by actor Ranveer Singh, has been declared tax-free in Delhi, the directors said on Tuesday.
Kabir Khan took to Instagram to write a thank you note to CM Arvind Kejriwal. “Thanks, Shri. @arvindkejriwal ji and Shri. msisodia.aap ji, for declaring film 83 duty free in Delhi! Your gesture will allow us to spread the story of India’s greatest victory to a wider audience. @therealkapildev # ThisIs83 (sic), ”he wrote.

Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, “83” will hit theaters on December 24 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film also stars actors Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R Badree.
Actor Deepika Padukone plays a special role in the film, playing Romi, Kapil’s wife.
