Those who don’t know, the movie is a remake of a Marathi horror mystery
Lapachhapi. In the film, Nushrratt plays a pregnant woman who escapes the city and seeks refuge in a house in the heart of the sugar cane fields. Unbeknownst to Sakshi, the house and fields are filled with dark secrets that begin to unfold as the story unfolds, posing a threat to Sakshi and her unborn child.
In her recent one-on-one with a media portal, Nushrratt explained how she prepared for the role of a pregnant woman: “I don’t think gaining weight is the only way to act pregnant. there is a bag of emotions that you have to feel. There is life in you. I think no one can understand this depth unless you become a mother for real. I have talked to mothers and asked them how they would react in certain situations during their pregnancy. I was wearing a bodysuit in the movie and that pregnant belly was about the same weight as if I had carried an eight month old baby. “
